Employment Law
Employment Law refers to an area of law which holds employers liable for violations of their contractual or statutory obligations to employees including the following:
- Discrimination on the basis of race, sex, age, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, or religion
- Wage disputes including failure to pay overtime and severance package negotiations
- Sexual harassment, slander and defamation, wrongful termination, and whistle blowing terminations
- Contract disputes, denial of medical or pregnancy leave, and failure to allow lunch or rest breaks
Since employers typically resist these claims aggressively, we present clients on a contingency fee basis so there is no cost to the client until a recovery is made.
